A little TLC on my latest WW2 piece

Arrived in the mail this week, but a little rough. I have picked up a few Rack Grades this year, but this one was the worst I received. Spent last night trying to clean it up a bit and try and prevent it getting any worse. Still has pitting up front of barrel, but the brass brush took off a bunch of rust. A little VAN's Gun blue brought back some of the color. Good news is the inside of the barrel looks really good and muzzles is tight. Can't wait to try it out on some pumpkins.

She might not be a beauty queen, but I’d find a spot in my rack for her.

Spot on! Nothing wrong with a WW2 weapon looking like it went through WW2. In coin collecting, if you clean an old coin, you damage the value. That rifle has character and a story to tell.
