H&R handi rifle
i am thinking of picking one up in 308 and making the 308 version of the AAC handi rifle. i am thinking this HB version would be a good host. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/prod ... 308++22+HB
just have to change the stocks and get Cranky to cut and thread the muzzle.
and result needs to look like this http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/prod ... 00+AAC+Bla

Re: H&R handi rifle
I have the survivor version in .308. It's been a good rifle considering the relatively low price I paid for it several years ago. I've used it for deer and coyote will good results. My only complaint about the rifle is it doesn't like anything but brass cased ammo. On two occasions I've had to use a cleaning rod to push out a steel case. It didn't require much force to push it out but it was just enough the extractor wasn't able to withdraw it from the chamber.
