Re: Bolt gun pics.
My relatively new Howa stainless heavy barrel .308. I haven't worked up a best load for it yet, but even with my reloaded break-in ammo, I was impressed with the accuracy.
The scope is a Sightron 4.5-14X44. I like Sightron... a lot. Great quality optics and very good value.
The bi-pod is from Sinclair International. It's very nice, but heavy.
I set the trigger lighter than many people would like. I warn people, but it surprises them anyway. I like it that light. And yes, I checked it every way I could think of to make sure that it won't accidentally discharge when jarred or rapped sharply from any direction, even though I only chamber a round when it's on target.
I don't hunt.
I hope to make some time this spring to work up an accurate load.

Re: Bolt gun pics.
My OTHER bolt action rifle.
Bluegrass Armory Viper .50 BMG
I'm thinking about selling the Leupold VX-III 6.5-20X50 scope and buying a huge Sightron 10-50X60 mil-dot scope... not that I have anyplace to shoot it that's far enough to justify a scope like that, and mirage might wipe out a lot of that upper magnification anyway, but I figure my eyes aren't getting any younger!

A build I finally finished.
I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes: If you f*** with me, I'll kill you all.
