Anderson Uppers ... No FA ... No DC ... No blems

Post by adayton » Tue Dec 09, 2014 12:22 pm

Anderson just sent out an email with these uppers listed ... and they have a 'bunch' of them right now ...
$33.00 apiece if I can get enough interest to offset (or split) shipping ... (please don't ask for quantity discounts ... unless you want a couple dozen or so ... then I will see what I can get done... :-) )
Let me know how many ...
I can usually have them in a few days from them ...
Thanx,
Allan Dayton

So these are stripped and need FAs/DCs to complete, or are complete 'slick' uppers?

Any idea on what shipping could be? I would be interested in one depending on final cost

I'll take a couple. That's how many lowers I have somewhere in the house I can't find at the moment dammit.

I have almost enough parts laying around to build the 300BLK pistol I have on the drawing board, and this would get me closer. Soon as I find those lowers, that is.....the search continues....

Shipping will be split among all involved, so if there are enough orders, the shipping will be minimal ...
Example: 10 uppers should be around 12-15 dollars shipping... and divided by 10 people ... shipping should be around 1.20-1.50 per upper ...

-- Tue Dec 09, 2014 9:00 pm --

Sorry for the delayed response on this ... and the omission of the link to the product ... (my bad ... was getting it out in a hurry between back to back con calls this afternoon...)
Looks like the orders are mounting up ... and shipping will be down around the 1-2 dollar mark ... (final prices will be when I place the order, but I would imagine it will be pretty minimal ...
I will keep this up for another day or 2 and then place the order.
Thanx,
Allan

I run a slick upper on my rifle. How many of you have actually used/needed the dust cover or forward assist?
If your riding the charging handle to be quiet then just put a finger on the bolt and ease it all the way in.

OK ... Here's the tally thus far...
Ken6881 - 2
kyswede - 2
yagreg - 2
vividia - 2
SOL - 1
Kokopelli - 2
Bama -- maybe 1?
OK That's 11 or 12 by my 'quick math' ... I'll guess that shipping is going to be around a buck apiece for these ...
that brings the total price to $34.00 Each
I am going to leave this open until Friday when I 'pull the trigger' on the order ...
I was hoping that Anderson would in the mean time send me one of their teaser emails giving me free shipping on my next order or something like that ... If that happens, I will pass the savings along.
Thanx all and I would think if I get it ordered on Friday, it will be on my doorstep by next Wednesday (or before)
I'll keep you all in the loop on it ...

Include me for 1 please. Sorry, I was thinking a 18-20" rifle build. This would work great for a 300upper pistol build.

Do I have one more mind change before my name gets changed to "nicegal" or have I passed that point already? haha Sorry for being a pain in the ass Allen.
