Before & After Weightloss (G-rated, don't get too excited)
This will go to show that there is nothing someone can't do if they put their mind to it.
Starting Weight: 287 lbs
Lightest Ever: 170 lbs (tooo skinny for me)
Didn't use any supplements (other than cheap SAMS club protein every once in a while). My dieting had to change everytime I plateau and could loose any more. Started out Carb free, zero bread/potatoes, now over half my meal is whole grains and only 40% meat. Complete opposites.
Didn't use a infomercial workout video for all this success. Not necessary because you loose weight at the dinner table and you go to the gym to get stronger. Just got to not give in, don't eat that cookie. Don't eat pizza as a lat night snack. Basic principle is to eat less calories than you burn day to day.

So if you want to lose weight, go out there and get it done! You feel so much better and I'll never go back. Surround yourself with people to encourage and push you. "You can do it!"

Way to go man!!!
I'm walking the same path. 70 pounds so far. 30 to go before I'm happy.
The only supplement I'm on is Bourbon.

Keep reporting the success stories guys! Very nice!

That's amazing! I started around 287 like you and my lightest ever has been 210. Hard to believe that the US Army's maximum weight allowance is 197 for guys that are 6'2.

Congrats dude. I'm in the process or trimming down as we speak. And I have hit a plateau for the last few weeks. I need to get back on the ball and push through it though.

Where'd you get that number? Height/weight standards vary by age, but even for an 18 year old the max weight for someone who's 6'2" is 201. For those of us who are 40 or older the max is 214.Harb wrote:That's amazing! I started around 287 like you and my lightest ever has been 210. Maybe I misread the charts on the Army's website.Frailer wrote:Where'd you get that number?
