Great. I decided to give it a shot so instead of the normal ravioli or Raman that I usually have at work I took a few hard boiled eggs, cheddar cheese cubes and an apple with me.KYgundude wrote:Awesome! Microwave omelet for breakfast. Actually more tasty than the instant oatmeal I was eating last week.rustynuts wrote:How did that work out for you?KYgundude wrote:Going to try a new recipe for breakfast at work. I cooked up a pound of grass fed beef with peppers and onions. Put it in a tupperware container. Put a little scoop of that mix in a few tupperware bowls with 2 eggs in each. Get to work, Crack eggs, cover and shake, nuke. I think it's gonna work, LOL
I'm eating as much if not more than I was. Add in the working out and I'm still dropping pounds in the first week. This diet is win so far.
I tossed all the grain products, the crackers, bread, snacks, and chips, all those went in the trash yesterday. Today I bought a scale: 217 pounds. See where it goes from there.
Like you, I feel like I may be eating more than usual. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Not to be a buzz kill but cheese isn't Paleo. At least not the stuff at Kroger. Of course it's all about baby steps it seems. I'm not giving up Bourbon for example.. F that.rustynuts wrote:Great. Yep. Baby steps. I figure I'll do away with the grains first.
I noticed in reading that there seems to be some conflict regarding dairy. For now I'm going to run with it.

I didn't do much dairy before so it's kind of easy.rustynuts wrote:Yep. Baby steps. I figure I'll do away with the grains first.

70 total since November. 22-24 of it since starting Paleo and strength training a couple months ago. I'm also gaining some muscle in my arms and legs.

Did a paleo recipe thread even get started? Weight loss has leveled out and I need to start eating better and being more active.
