Re: Prepping for the Big Chill

It's currently 16 degrees here with a wind chill in the single digits. Hard to believe it was 50 degrees 12 hours ago! Unfortunately it will not get any warmer today than it is now. Temperatures will continue to drop today to eventually be below zero tonight. Windchills will get as low as -30.

Re: Prepping for the Big Chill

Gave my kerosene heater a trial run and got plenty of fuel.
Hopefully the power doesn't go out and I don't have to use it.

Re: Prepping for the Big Chill

Watch out for flash freezing of the roads tonight as the rain will make them wet and the dropping temps will freeze them quick!

Re: This is where we talk about fighting thread....

To many to count. Most in middle school and a few in high school. Won some, lost some. The last fight I had was with a E8 over some chic at a bar. I was a PV2 at the time. He thought he was looking out for me by trying to steer me away from her, but I wasn't gonna let anyone cock block me that night...

Re: Goodbye 60 & 40 watt incandescent bulbs

Man, they suck as outdoor lighting in the winter time.
Can't just flip the floodlights on and have light. Gotta wait for them to warm up before you can see.
