Re: What did you cook today?

I am working my ass off this weekend to get this test coded so I asked the wife to cook. Gave her a pound of ground Brisket/Short Rib to work with. Smothered Beef Burgers on Arugula with roasted root vegetables. She can cook! Was freakin' awesome!

Re: EDC Knife

I’ve bought a ton of folding knives in my life, but after Spyderco released the Paramilitary 2 my knife search was over. I did buy a Para 3 lightweight that’s nice if you want a smaller version. Spyderco will be my only brand from here on out. I carried my Spyderco Delica 4 for years. I finally swi...

I made chicken etouffe with rice from a box of Tony Chachere’s mix. It wasn’t as good as I had hoped.
I would have had high hopes. Tony C stuff is legit.

Re: What did you cook today?

Checked out The Farmers Wife this morning, or at least the shop on a farm with that name. The Short Ribs were $5.50/lb, the Chuck is $8.00/lb, and the Gourmet Ground Beef(a brisket/short rib blend) was $7.80. It's all grass raised, grain finished local beef. When you consider the cost of shipping an...

Get over it digital tough guy. Overpriced cheap ass pink automatic Simpsons knives aren't worth 120 bucks in bourbon country. We know it and you know it. If this is as thick as your skin comes, this is probably not the group for you.

Just make sure to pinch the edges of the sausage together so it doesn't come apart when cooking. Season with your dry seasoning of choice, and th...
