Your best bet is still to call Stoeger.

Find a parts diagram and look for the ejector. Compare it to this. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/33541

Compare your ejector to factory pics and specs. If it checks out just call Stoeger. They will walk you through fixing it even if it is out of warranty.
