Re: Gun Ban lifted at KFC Yum Center?

They don't say how they're going to treat CCDWs but I'm assuming they're a no go. They are not putting in metal detectors to stop people from bringing in hash pipes or vaping tubes... of course it is about guns and of course you will be turned away even with a permit. And of course there will be, a...

Re: Virginia to cut reciprocity with 25 states

State Congressional repubs are not happy with the GOV and and are looking at legislation to fix this issue. One says he is looking at a budget amendment to remove funding for the GOV's armed guards. http://bearingarms.com/va-gop-may-strip-mcauliffe-protective-detail-concealed-carry/?utm_content=buff...

Re: Virginia to cut reciprocity with 25 states

A Utah non resident permit would be more advantageous than applying for Virginia. Then you are covered for Virginia, without spending money in Virginia. Also Utah is good for 31 states (I think) and cost $51, Virginia, not so many, and cost $100. Yes, I saw that as well, and I am in the process of ...

Re: Virginia to cut reciprocity with 25 states

Non-resident permit apps require proof of training. A training class from an "approved" State DOJ suffices. Not sure if Kentucky will be an "approved" source in January. If you are considering this option, and only have this training documented, I suggest you act quickly. Request Virginia Nonresiden...

Re: Louisville off-duty officers told to disarm or leave con

I think it would really come down to who the liquor license is issued to. If it issued to a vendor in a large facility like the Yum Center that has their own separate space then you are not necessarily "entering the bar" just by entering the premises. If The Palace has a license issued to it then it...

Re: Louisville off-duty officers told to disarm or leave con

F. Carrying a loaded firearm in a bar; restaurant exception State law (KRS 244.125) prohibits anyone, including a license holder, from possessing a loaded firearm, whether concealed or in the open, in a room where alcoholic beverages are being sold by the drink. This prohibition does not apply to...

so were they open carrying, printing or were the off-duty LMPD doing security wanding people? that's the question...unless they were sending everyone through metal detectors and they had to ID for carry... Re: Question about Open Carry of a Handgun in KY

Should I call the KY State police and ask them about it? They should be the ultimate authority on it. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk Talk to 10 different officers get 10 different answers... OC is legal as long as you are 18 or over. Says nothing about residency in KRS. Having a loaded weapon ...

The new information appears to confirm that Farook's radicalization predates his marriage to Malik, whom he met in 2013 and wed the following year. A law enforcement official told Fox News on Tuesday that Syed was in part radicalized in the U.S., and investigators were still “looking and investigati...

"One of the more subtle features has to do with take-down. You don’t have to pull the trigger to take the gun down.
