You might want to look into a Yugo M97, which can also be had in 8mm Mauser, as well as 7.62x54R.

How is the rack on the slide? I've wanted to get one for Mrs. W, but she has pretty bad arthritis in her hands and wrists and I'm concerned whether she could rack the slide easy enough to be able to handle it properly.

If you really want to see what they can do, try rocking The Scorpions' "Rock You Like a Hurricane". That and AC/DC's "Hell' Bells" have always been great tracks to test a system with, IMO.
