Re: Another shop closing?

Gunsmokin and Dave, thanks for making me feel included. Jack just ignored me like usual. :llama: .All kidding aside, I am curious about what's going on. Since I have nowhere near the background knowledge of the local gun scene as most of you, I just figure somebody stepped on their dick with golf sh...

Re: Multiple guns

I use my 20 round GI mags in it and I don't want to give those up. I'm sure I could scare up a 30 rounder but really?

Multiple guns

For trade or cash. Or both. I'm consolidating and reorganizing the toy box and these are the things I can do without. Sig MPX carbine-. Has MFT Minimalist and factory irons. I would prefer to trade for a Gen 1 pistol. 2nd choice would be a AR9. Specifics can be discussed. Kimber TLE/RL II- 45 acp, n...

I will keep that in mind. I normally use CCI, but reworking a load is better than not having ammo.

Re: Large Pistol Primers

I was just at the Cabela's in Lexington and they had 3x 1000 s&b small pistol primers. I went looking the other day around Louisville and was finally able to find 3 boxes of small pistol at BCF. Seemed like plenty of magnum small pistol though.

Re: 1911 trigger job?

Drop in mainspring to reduce pull weight or stoning contact surfaces? Cylinder & slide has springs down to 3.5# if I recall. There is a YouTube series about hand building a 1911, but it looks like $$ for the tools required.
