You would think after all these years Pro Mag could finally produce at least one magazine that worked reliably. And yet they still have not.

Given how popular guns and shooting are in Kentucky I don’t understand why this forum sees so little activity. That’s especially true since Facebook went full Nazi on gun stuff.

I have a GWACS that I bought on sale 4-5 years ago for $89 that I completed with a pencil barrel upper. It barely weighs five pounds and is the best handling AR I’ve ever picked up. I’m going to get one of the new versions eventually, but not for $249.

If you’re unfamiliar, Brownell’s and KE Arms are producing an updated version of the unified polymer lower like the old CAV Arms or GWACS Armory that they used for the “What Would Stoner Do” project rifle. Google it if you’ve got some time to kill. Anyway, Brownell’s sells the stripped lowers for $1...

I have no idea who made it but it looks like a quality barrel. Truthfully I don’t even remember buying it but at one time I owned a 10mm 1911 so I guess I bought it to shot cheap range ammo. Any full-size 2nd or 3rd generation 9mm magazine will work. They aren’t hard to find.

I did a efile Form1 this summer and built a rimfire can using an XRT Tactical kit. The approval actually came thru faster than the kit did. It’s super high quality (although it does have aluminum end caps) and is every bit as quiet as my commercial can.

Yes, it’s threaded.
