You can get higher than 3x magnification for the eotech setup primary arms sells them up to 6x I think. Problem with all of them is the eye relief it is 1.5". Also the option of the Burris xtr? Knob creek had one it is mine now. Pretty fun gun and surprisingly accurate I was making shots at the hillside end of the range and hitting pretty close was told that's 300 yards away.

This all seems to be the beginning of what many have worried about for years. Once guns are registered then the dictatorship can either tax you for ownership of each gun or know where to go to take them all away.
